Crispy Oven Wings: Pick Your Heat
A crisp oven method with separate seasoning amounts for Chick POW, Chick POW FIRE and The Nashville Life.
Serves 4 • Prep: 15 minutes • Cook: 45–55 minutes
Ingredients
2 lb split chicken wings, tips removed
1 tbsp neutral oil
1 tsp Chick POW FIRE
1 tbsp lemon juice for serving, optional
How to make it
Heat oven to 425°F. Set a wire rack over a foil-lined sheet pan and lightly oil the rack.
Pat wings very dry. Toss with oil and Chick POW FIRE, coating evenly.
Spread wings on the rack with space between them. Roast 45–55 minutes, turning halfway, until browned and every thick piece reaches at least 165°F.
Serve immediately, with optional lemon juice on the side.
Swap or combine flavors
Use 2 tsp Chick POW instead of Chick POW FIRE for a less fiery batch. Or use 1 tsp The Nashville Life instead. Split wings into separate bowls before seasoning if offering more than one flavor.
Make it a meal
Pair with Garlic Green Beans with Lemon and Crispy Garlic Smashed Potatoes.
Shop the flavors
The blends are finely ground: coat food lightly and evenly. Hold additional salt until you have tasted the cooked dish. Cooking times are estimates; use the doneness instructions.
