About Char & Oak

Char & Oak began as a competition cook team, competing in local chili and salsa contests. Named for owner Tim Donald’s daughters, Charlotte and Oakley, the company grew from a love of cooking and sharing bold flavors.
After the team collected a few trophies, people started asking which spices went into the recipes. Tim began blending seasonings for friends and neighbors, then brought Char & Oak to local farmers markets. The spices began to sell—and the rest is history!
