Backyard Vegetable Skewers

A simple grill side that lets Salt Free seasoning and fresh vegetables carry the flavor.

Serves 4 • Prep: 15 minutes • Cook: 12–15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 small zucchini, cut into 1-inch rounds

  • 2 bell peppers, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces

  • 1 red onion, cut into wedges

  • 8 oz button mushrooms, wiped clean

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tsp Salt Free

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

How to make it

  1. If using wooden skewers, soak as directed on the package. Heat grill to medium, about 375–400°F.

  2. Toss vegetables with oil and Salt Free. Thread onto skewers with small gaps between pieces.

  3. Grill 12–15 minutes, turning several times, until vegetables are tender with browned edges.

  4. Transfer to a platter and finish with lemon juice.

Swap or combine flavors

Replace 2 tsp Salt Free with 3/4 tsp SPG for a salt, pepper and garlic version. Choose one blend rather than stacking both full quantities.

Make it a meal

Shop the flavors

The blends are finely ground: coat food lightly and evenly. Hold additional salt until you have tasted the cooked dish. Cooking times are estimates; use the doneness instructions.
