Space Coast Fish Tacos
Flaky fish, crunchy cabbage and lime for a Space Coast taco night.
Serves 4 (8 tacos) • Prep: 20 minutes • Cook: 8–12 minutes
Ingredients
1 1/2 lb firm white fish fillets, such as cod or mahi-mahi
2 tsp Sea POW
1 tbsp neutral oil
8 small tortillas
2 cups shredded cabbage
1/4 cup plain yogurt
2 tbsp lime juice, divided
1 avocado, sliced
How to make it
Mix yogurt with 1 tbsp lime juice. Toss cabbage with the other tbsp lime juice.
Pat fish dry, brush with oil and season with Sea POW. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook fish about 3–5 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until it reaches 145°F and separates easily with a fork.
Warm tortillas. Fill with fish, cabbage, avocado and the yogurt dressing.
Swap or combine flavors
Replace 2 tsp Sea POW with 1 tsp The Blackening or 1 tsp The Shrimp Life. These are alternative seasonings for the same fish; do not add all three full amounts.
Make it a meal
Serve with Sweet Potato and Black Bean Skillet using Chili POW alone.
Shop the flavors
The blends are finely ground: coat food lightly and evenly. Hold additional salt until you have tasted the cooked dish. Cooking times are estimates; use the doneness instructions.
